“Rest on every side” is something I’ve been dwelling on in recent months. It’s from the Bible, but it’s something we are all desperate for. The notion of rest is extremely difficult to live out in our busy, hurried culture, but it’s something worth fighting for at all costs… it’s worth putting around your neck and claiming. :) I want to live out of state of rest deep in my soul so that I can be a healthy, functioning human in this world, not missing out on the small, the slow, the beautiful.
